ok i am using redhat 7.2 so i know i have to configure xinetd and i did i used the pages that i found on configuring swat from a search i did.

and when i run a chkconfig --list it says swat is on... but i can't connect into swat

so when i go to service configuration and higlight swat it says "you must enable xinetd to use this service" and won't let me start, stop or restart it.

what am i doing wrong?

also i know that http is on and working (i can go from localhost or any comp on the network and see the apache test page.

i am a bigtime newbie so please help me!
