Hrm, how would I solve this?
I am using suse 7.0
I have a 3com ethernet card
I can't connect yet so I tried that and voila, 'command not found'
how adorable. Just wondering if anybody knows why this is and how to solve such a problem.
Thank you for your time

Either you're trying to run this as your normal user or /sbin is not in your path. Run ifconfig as root and if that doesn't work then try /sbin/ifconfig. That should work :)

Hey, thanks I'll check that out
What would it print out if I have the ethernet card recognized? If I may ;)
Thanks, though, I will do this...
