Samba incorprated into NT Domain

I have setup and installed FreeBSD for a webserver at our organization. I have this question. Is there a way that I can get samba to communicate and get all usernames and passwords from my PDC so that when I add a new user or they change thier password, everything stays cool with a mapped drive to my Unix system? I also want to share the Apache web folder with several web developers so they can directly upload as opposed to ftp documents.

Is the Samba box replacing the NT box or are u having it co-exist with NT? I would really recomment getting the SAMBA Unleashed book, In there u can be able to do much more with SAMBA tied in with NT and then evently replace NT, then any one here could possiblely know. It is a good $50 investment. 4 chapters are for samba servers working with NT and novell.
