Anybody have any info on the format/protocol Exchange Server uses when it's not set up to do POP3? My university's e-mail server is an Exchange server, and I can get to the mail through Outlook Web Access, but I'd like to have something that can pick up the mail and stick it in my local mailbox (ala fetchmail). Is the mail stored in the mailbox.pab and personal.pst files?

Reason I'm asking:
I've been looking for something to write that isn't out there yet, and this looks both useful and interesting. Plus, I have yet to find a program that will do this.

Thanks in advance,
Bryan

.pst files store mail and other things. .pab is your address book. You are tackling an issue that has been around for a while. I do not believe there is a app out there to do what your asking.

Thanks for the info. I'll start working on the pst files this weekend.
