what will i do or configure to let my DOS connect to my linux box :confused:

on the linux side you need to use Samba, and on the dos side, microsoft networking for DOS and network card drivers for youcard written for DOS. I dunno where you get these.

You're trying to connect to your Linux box from MS-DOS? You can try "telnet ip-address" where ip-address is the IP of your Linux box... if you're talking about networking your Linux box and MS-DOS box together... then that I'm not sure... although you can try searching in search engines for possible ways.
