My school has two DS3 internet connections, yet one has 200ms latency and the other is only 20ms. I would like to route out of the low latency internet connection.
Here is my setup.
eth0 134.126.227.188 Bcast: 134.126.227.255 Mask: 255.255.252.0
when I traceroute out to the internet the first hop goes to 134.126.224.2
then to the slow gateway 134.126.2.14
I would like to route out of the fast gateway that is 134.126.2.5
when I traceroute to that gateway I get 224.2 then 2.9 then 2.5
I have read the route man pages and the ADV-Routing how-to but could not find a scenario similair to mine. Any help is greatly appreciated!
for additional info on my network go to www.jmu.edu/network/ (http://www.jmu.edu/network/) or www.networkvirginia.net (http://www.networkvirginia.net)
