that's it guys, which one do you use, and why did you pick that particular one ?? I've noticed that sendmail it the most used, then postfix, and, in last qmail. What are the advantages of sendmail over postfix and qmail ?? and so on...

PS: HALs i don't know if this is the place for this post, and, if it isn't then i'm sorry...

Qmail just because it's the most secure, reliable, configurable and fast.

Just because it's most used doesn't mean it's the best MTA. There are far more M$ server than UNIX/Linux combined, doesn't that mean M$ has better server products?

I've used all 3. MTA's make my head spin. Sendmail, is the most widely use, sure, but that doesn't make it any easier. I just got done trying out postfix. Extremely fast, relatively-ready-to-go out of the box (er, tarball). Qmail seems to be the best solution for my situation (small ISP), although it seems to be slower on my box than postfix, and I am having a hard time with local user account mail access.

Sendmail was incredibly slow on my freebsd box so I am using Postfix now. Never used qmail.
