Ok, I've got a laptop and a desktop, both running Slack 8.0, kernel 2.4.5. On the laptop, my wireless networking card works just fine, I'm posting this using it. On the desktop, with the same setup, same pcmcia-cs, same iwconfig version, it sees an access point and can't talk to it! I also have an Intel EtherExpress PRO/100 nic in the desktop. Any ideas as to why the card isn't working in the desktop?

check out the IRQ's etc the cards use that there is no conflict between them.

less /proc/pci
