Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone can point me to a good comparison between sendmail (or something else even, but runs on linux) and M$exchange server ($1300?! Yowza!)
We are going to be moving our email in house here at work (SMTP & POP3, maybe IMAP for remote access), and i would really like to convince my boss, etc to NOT use M$.
We have 2 Dells running NT4.0 right now. Planing on up(?)grading to win2k sometime this quarter probably. Any problems with a linux email server and nt running our fileserver, DHCP, etc? We have DSL thru a Netscreen firewall. and we're all using outlook express for email & news on NT4 clients.
Finally, anyone know a reputable network support company in or around Chicago? We don't really have a network department here. Me and my boss (both mechanical engineers) just happen to be the most knowledgeable about computers, etc. Scary, eh? http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
thanks,
john
p.s. i'm still trying to convince my boss to setup another box running apache to host out web page too! http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
