I have a problem. I am trying to connect my company's network to the internet via a dial-up modem and cannot do so. Any time it successfully connects, it immediately is disconnected from the isp. I know it is not the modem or isp since I can connect to the isp from the same computer via Windoze and I can dial up to the same computer (running Linux) from outside. I am guessing it is an ip address conflict from the network card having a static ip address assigned my me and a dynamically assigned ip address from the isp, but I could be wrong. How do I correct this problem? Is this the job of IP Masquarading, or IP Aliasing? I really appreciate any assistance I can get and I thank you in advace for your assistance.
