If there's a big difference, this question will propably seem strange to you, but I just can't figure it out.
thx

routing = traffic cop telling all the packets which network card to go through
masquerading = one or more internet addresses pretending to be one by hiding behind that one address

And practically?
I mean do you have any examples, cuz I don't understand much with your definition

Routing - You have multiple REAL IP Addresses, but some of them are behind your router / firewall.

Masq - You only have 1 IP Address, and you hide private IP's behind it, and masq services through your legal IP Address to the servers that host that service through your router / firewall.

I think that this is right, if I'm wrong, please let me know.
