I almost went back to windows

but SAMBA finally works. It was that damn firewall. i can access my linux box from windows and vice versa!!!!

It was the damn firewall. after turning off bastille and portsentry, guess what???
I will not be getting windows XP unless u nice folks refuse to answer my question.
How do i get the firewall to accept samba logins?

You'll have to open up ports 137-139 maybe 445, how to do that with bastille, I do not know.
