Help needed. Both my linux and windows computers can talk to each other via my home LAN. My linux box is at 192.168.0.2 and my windows is at 192.168.0.3. Samba seems setup correctly. Everything seems to be working just fine at the first glance. However, if both computer become idle for a while, I will no longer be able to ping my linux box from my windows computer but I can still ping my windows from my linux. And once I ping the windows from linux, the LAN connection seems to be re-established and my windows can talk to linux once more. This wield thing just happened too damn often and becomes intolerable. Is there anyone out there has any idea how to fix it? I appreciate it.
