Hi I have managed to log in to the isp and excuss me iam quiet new to linux, iam using redhat 7.2 and kde as my d. Now when i connect i get a quiet line nothing i cant even ping my own dhcp allocatde ip address. I have statically allocated the dns values.

Help please newbies :confused:

Try to reconfigure your internet connection, I'm sure redhat has a configuration utility for this. Hit the "K" on the kde taskbar, and look in the menu for a submenu called something like "configuration" or "system".
