I would just like to relay a situation that proves that good documentation can fix almost anything you could come across.

My daughter had a slight problem, and I chose to use both the Red Hat 6.2 book, and the Linux 11th edition of Updating and Repairing PC's.

The solution was that both books are the same thickness.

The problem was that my daughter, who is 2 1/2 weeks old, had a cold. I used the books to prop up the head of her cot to help her to breath while sleeping. It worked a treat.

And she already adores my Tux doll. :-P

First of all, I hope your daughters cold is better.

Two and a half weeks old? Never too young to start teaching her Linux.

What took you so long? You should have started her as soon as she arrived home. (Then again, reading her the man pages while still inside mommy would have been best.) :)

On the other side of the equation, "covering" her in books of that size, weight and thickness is probably not a great idea! :P
