I have heard that in linux we can use more then 1 modem (parallel connection) to connect to the internet at our home, so we can boost the internet connection > 56kbps. So I hope there somebody that can give me the instruction how to do that thing.

I sure there is a how-to somewhere check out www.google.com (http://www.google.com) and search for multi-linking (w/or w/out the - ) and linux.
Just to make your imagination churn, at my ISP we had some old 33.6 modem racks which is 10-12 33.6 modems that automaticly link together, and multi-link, doing the math that was almost a partial t1(which is 512kb both ways). And remeber that a 33.6 was 33.6 upload and 33.6 download. The phone line costs would be astronomical but it would be very cool to see. Also there are a ton of pretty lights on it. it was cool just to hook it up and turn it on/off every 15 seconds.

It's definitely possible, and I think there's even a kernel compile option for it, however, your ISP needs to support it.
