I am using LM 8.1, with KDE2 as my GUI. I know how to get to the setup for the taskbar clock, but I CANNOT find what the %x%x%x needs to be set to in order to get it to display time in the 24 hour format. Can anybody help me out here. (Monumental problem, I know.....(grin))
Thanks
Richard

Not for nothing...
But why didn't you post what you found?

It's "%H:%M:%S"
Anyway, mine is in 24-hour mode, and I can't seem to remember ever setting it that way. Ideas on how uit could have ended up in 24-hour mode are welcome. (Maybe it's influenced by locale settings)

If I right-click on the KDE "kicker panel" clock, and select Date&Time Format, and select North America&U.S. as the country - I get am/pm display. If I select the "C" default country I get a 24 hour display.
