I'm too sick to go to work but not bad enough to be in bed all day so I want to configure my openBSD to dial into my e-mail server at work (VMS/VAX). I tried using tip by typeing: tip -v -(baud rate) (phone number)
and it sends back the message saying that my baud rate is the host and its unknown. I've edited /etc/phone to put the host name of the vax and its modem dial in number but I think I need to edit /etc/remote and I have not the fogiest idea how to do that. Any help would be great.

the only thing I have ever "tipped" into was a hardwire connection through serial port...

sorry
