I heard somewhere that you could download Solaris for the Intel Platform for free on their website. Did I hear wrong, or do they just not have it for free anymore, or am I just not looking in the right place???

For download, at least. You may still be able to order a media-kit? jcrowe 04-11-2002, 09:39 AM I have an 8-disk set of Solaris 8. I'll burn you a copy, if you want to pay for shipping and cd's. Or if you have something that you'd want to trade. Only for SPARC. They'll be glad to [b]sell[\b] you a copy, though... Rickdog 04-11-2002, 09:40 PM Having just received the 45.00 Solaris for intel media kit, I will give my two cents worth. Save your money, unless you like to really dig deep into your computer knowledge, pocket book, and solve really tough puzzles. I was unable to get my system to install properly after trying about a dozen times with various methods. Maybe I'm just dumb. justlinux.com
