I am using FreeBSD 4.5 on a P4 Intel 850 motherboard. When I try to compile with the USER_LDT option it fails. Can someone help.

Need a little more info than 'it fails' for us to help. Output your error messages when compiling.

I take it you want to run WINE, mplayer or xmovie...
