I am running a dual boot machine, with Windows and Mandrake7.2. I have 2 40gig HD's, and one is all Win98, and the other is 20gig's of Mandrake. I want to install Solaris. I am using the grub boot loader, will Solaris write over this? I have backed up all the software I really dont want to lose, but I would like to avoid losing any.

How will Solaris react to the dual boot that is configured right now? Has anyone had any experience with this befor?

Thanks,

Try reading this,
http://math.uwb.edu.pl/~mariusz/multiboot/

alot of really good information on various booting methods that can be done with Solaris. Have yet to try them though, since Solaris is a little more picky when it comes to dual/triple booting.

Good luck
