Is there a site out there dedicated to UNIX documentation, much like linuxdoc.org is to Linux?

I'm not being sarcastic, but did you try the man command? unix has a vast amount of information built right into it. Try the man pages.

If you are looking for specific documentation, try google. I'm currently going through solaris certification, I always use google, there is a ton of documents on the internet. If you are using a vendor Unix IE: Sun, HP, etc go to their web sites you can get a wealth of information from the web sites. I've gotten full user manuals and white pages from Sun's web site, HP has the same.

Good luck! And I hope this was of help to you.

www.unixpower.org (http://www.unixpower.org) is really nice, although there are a couple of links on it that are dead, but I have received alot of information from it.

Also, what distro are you wanting to know about? Each of them have excellent sites. I love freebsd.org which has a wealth of info.

Hope this helps! :)

Denise,

I'm studying for the SysAdmin Cert now. Of course I stumbled upon the docs site for sun less than two weeks after I had already bought 3 of the Sun Press books! :) But it's a great supplement to what I have. BigAdmin isn't too shabby either...well except for the name! :D
