i just downloaded all three cds and im kind of confused as to what format the software disks are. inside the zip file is a iso9660 image but yet when i try to burn it(ive tried on linux and windows) it just doesnt go through. am i just suppose to burn those two onto a cd as a file and not an image than mount it that way?
Change the extension to .iso in Windows CD-Creator will do the job. In BSD use cdrecord in coonsole mode.

Here's the instructions:
.Extract the CD images using unzip software. We recommend you use the most up-to-date versions you can find. We have successfully used WinZip 8.0, PKZIP 4.0,
and Netzip Classic 7.5.1. The result will be a file with the same name as the file you downloaded, but without the .zip extension. Each file is a CD image that may be
up to 650 Mbytes in size; make sure you have sufficient space on your hard drive before you start the unzip process.
Next, create a CD from these images using your favorite CD creation software. Depending on the software package you use, you may have to rename the file first
to give it an extension the software recognizes as a CD image. For example, if you use Easy CD Creator, add the extension .iso to the file name. Next, from the File
Menu in the program, select Create CD from CD image. Then, select that image file. If you use Nero burning rom, also use a .iso extension.

i have tried adding .iso to them but that had no effect. the weirdest thing is that i can mount the images i just cant burn them, no matter ill just mount the images and access them that way.
What software and OS are you using?? If your using windows try downloading WinImage and opening the file after you change the extension to .iso
