Anyone know what the heck is the the matter with this install
Just doing a solaris 8 install for I86
couldn't get past detecting hardware
so i downloaded the DCA image 10/01
and booted with it
now i get to the selection of boot device
and i see my HD and my cd-rom
so i select my cd-rom witch is in the HCL
and i get a error: pci@0,0/pci-ide2,1/ide@0/sd@1,0:a: only supports pcfs file system type
now my cd-rom is set as slave on ide1
also tryed it as master on ide 2
and it didn't even find it
do i need to specify any boot parameter
to get it to read of the cd-rom?
i've looked around on the net about this error didn't find much .
Thx
