Be is properly installed ( at least I think) on a 4G partition, I am running win 2k, so I had to create a boot floppy, no prob. Boot up and get the BeOS splash screen, then it goes to another blank screen and just a little cursor blinking in the upper left corner. If I hit any keys at this point the computer reboots itself, and if the floppy is in, the same thing happens. Take it out and I boot up fine into windows.
This is on a spare machine, so its kinda old
PII 233Mhz
20Gb Maxtor
yada yada yada

any suggestions?

Enter the LNO BeOS geek;

If you hold down the space bar durning the boot up, you'll get a menu of boot options. Try selecting safe mode, and see if that works. It will most likely boot with no hard ware turned on, and you'll get a crapy grayscale screen. But from this point you can try and figure out what isn't supported.
