Solaris Workstation Behind a Proxy Server

yes i am a bit wondering about how to get this solaris box behind the windows nt 4 proxy server
at work of mine they run a windows nt4 proxy server and i want to get my box fully running behind it.

it runs on dhcp but i cannot do anything behind behind it, and it shows up an ip requested from the proxy, but it will not connect out. via ftp,ping, but if i placed in the netscape with the proxy info it works fine.

sounds like the networking side of it is all good. What about your proxy settings in netscape? If you set those, it should work. I get out all day long at work on an HP and Sun. Though I must admit, we use both NT and Sun for proxy requests.

actualy yes it works fine with netscape.
just i want to ftp out and other stuff with it
