At my work we are trying to use a Solaris box running Gauntlet as are ntp server. The Solaris box is getting up dates from the time servers on the internet just fine. The problem is inside the fire wall the Novell server is not getting the time from the solaris box. I have tried to use a client on my workstation to get updates of the time but it just fails. I know its a utp protocol. But is there a certian way I need to configure gauntlet to those packets go to the novell box.. its a pure tcp/ip network. So can anybody give me a suggestion or if you run into this let me know.. how.
