before I read more than I need to... Do I need samba or another util to network to a NT server? I dont need to see unix from NT just NT from unix. can I just mount it somehow.

PS actulally its a unix network to a NT network.

thanks thats just what I need.
is there anything that goes both ways, I was quite suprized when I read that samba was just a file server.

AFAIK, no. Just get Samba for the other way.
