Yeah ... thats right ... I like Nautilus. It's not so slow once you tweek it down a bit.

Anyway, are you using 1.0.3? Does it work at all when you allow it to draw the desktop? When I tried 1.0 enabling that feature made my 500MHz Athlon w/ 256MB RAM crawl like a 286. If you used 1.0 how do the two compare?
Nautilus does have some nice little features that are especially useful to show off linux to MS addicts ;) I like the thing when you hover the mouse over an mp3 and it starts playing. That's :cool:

I'm using 1.03. It's a little sluggish but you can set the settings down and make it much faster. I didn't try 1.0 I don't believe. I'm using it on a AMD 600 w/384mb RAM, but it isn't any slower than running Enlightenment really (which is one of my WM of choice).
