I've read the NHFs on true type fonts, and been to a bunch of other sites HOWTO files regarding this topic and I still can't seem to get it right. My last attempt caused GNOME to crash upon starting untill I removed a couple lines from the XF86Config file. Is there an easier way to go about doing this?

Haven't tried this one (http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/xwin/xfont.html), but had saved it for future use.
May help you.

Thanx....any little bit will help. I even went out a bought a new book on Linux....O'Reilly's Running Linux. Has some stuff on configuring XF86. I've had good experience with O'Reilly books, they're frosted flakes.

I've tried several HOWTO files. My box just doesn't seem right though. My XF86Config file is way off from wot is posted in the HOWTOs, and that's where I get lost. When I first downloaded and installed the webfonts pack everything was "peachy", untill I logged off. Next day it was back to smaller then bible print. So I'm thinking it was the webfont install that fubar'd my box up. I may just start from scratch and re-install linux.
