is it possible to do that, kinda like how SawFish and E works? if not (and I doubt it does), how do I setup my system to allow me to access it on startup? I use GDM on boot, and, well, I'm a clueless newbie, but I really want to mess around with Linux and get my hands dirty... besides, how else do you learn? at least it's not as painful as getting splashed with bacon grease or buying Windows 2000... :) ,

alright... I got GDM working correctly...I'm now using BlackBox, and Mozilla 0.8 (WOOHOO!!!)... and, erm, it doesn't really seem like there are too many problems... I like this wm a bit more than Gnome, KDE, or the other managers... I *love* seeing my computer running so fast (after using Windows for so long, I thought I had a clunker)... :) wow...I'm tempted to break open a bottle of champagne to celebrate :)

oh, just one thing...how do I bind keys? for example, I'd like to use Alt+F1 to move 1 desktop back, and Alt+F2 to move a desktop forward (I'm sure someone here knows what I'm talking about)... once I figure that out, I...I... I think that I'd actually be quite content with the arrangement

bbkeys is the program you want for key bindings. Find it here:
