how to switch desktop managers?

yup, thats basically it. im using gnome but would like to switch to the kde desktop manager. anyone know where i can select this?

ps. i dont mean just switching between gnome and kde. its the desktop manager that looks different with kde or (local host) or whatever its called. :)
