does anyone know where kde saves its resolution information when logging in in corel 1.2 as root?
i am lookin for a config file to edit on a console, because at startup this resolution is set to something like 40x80, and i cant reach the knobs in my screen,
thanks for your kind help

KDE does NOT handle things like the resolution. That is the job of X.

xf86config is the program you are looking for.

you can also edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config file by hand, but that is not very wise for starters :)

You can also try Control-Alt-Plus a few times. ***NOTE*** you MUST first se the 'Num-lock' and then use the plus and minus signs ON THE KEYPAD!
