I just did a workstation install of RedHat 7.0 on my test box. I see that Sawfish is used as the default window manager. One of the options I liked in Enlightenment was that you could configure it to raise a window automaticly when the mouse was over it. I can not find this same feature in Sawfish. Am I missing somthing or is that not available in Sawfish?

I think there is an option like this in the "focus settings" window, but I'm not at my linux box now so I can't say for sure.

Run sawfish-ui. Then look at the "focus" section. Look for "Raise windows when they are focused". There you are http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Yes you can. You can use the Gnome Control Center and drill down to the Sawfish section. Then look for the focus area. It's alot like Enlightenment.

All the gnome control center does is embed sawfish-ui in it.

Ok I found it, select raise window when focused and choose 'enter-only' for when mouse affects input focus. I was looking for 'on-mouse-over' at first, 'enter-only' didn't come to mind right away as a synonym. Oh well at least it work now. Thanks :-)
