Is there a way to get Enlightenment to show up in the SuSE 7.0 login screen. Blackbox showed up automatically, but I can't get Enlightenment to run except by going into GNOME and setting it as my WM (which I don't want to do). Any ideas?

Are you saying that you have a text/character-based logon prompt and you want a GUI? If so change your runlevel to 5 in /etc/inittab.
You can create a local .xinitrc (in the home directory) and place "exec enlightenment &" in it - I think that's the executable name for Enlightenment, but check to make sure. You might want to include the full path to the Enlightenment in .xinitrc.
To only run Enlightenment as your WM (without Gnome Desktop) see the mx script as an example: http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000978.html

If the problem is with your GUI login manager which one are you using? If GDM then simply do a "locate Sessions" at the command line find the GDM Seesions directory (always seems to be in a different place) and look at some of the files there... you should see things like Gnome, Blackbox, Windowmaker, etc, etc, so just look at the format of those files and create one for enlightenment. Remember to "chmod a+x" it. If your using KDM I can't tell you exactly but I would imagine it's much of the same.
