transparent window border

is there a way to get blackbox to make the window borders transparent with only the outline of the border and the window title showing?

It sounds to me like you are referring to transparent backgrounds. And yes it is possible with many terminal packages including eterm and aterm. If you would for example do a forum search on "transparent backgrounds" I'm sure you'll find what you need.

If you're talking about borderless windows, as opposed to transparent backgrounds, then you'll want to look for an option to "Set Border Style" or something similar most likely. I can't say for sure because I've never used BB but in GNOME/Enlightenment you can get the border options by [ALT +] right clicking on the border of a window.

ive been looking for it for a while now and it seems that you can only eliminate the side borders of the bb windows there is no option to my knowledge that sets the size of the top and bottom borders
