Is anyone using KDE 3.0 yet?

I know the stable release is out, just wondering if anyone has had a chance to use it completly yet.....

Using it now and am absolutely delighted with it! Konqueror is a lot better for a start, and once it has tabbed browsing support in 3.1, there will never be a need to use Mozilla ever again!

Be warned - some of the RPMs appear to have been screwing up peoples' systems:

I compiled from source ( no Debian .deb's available yet  ), and am having no problems.

Would you be interested in writing a review for my site?

mangeli: I'm afraid any review I did write would probably end up being incredibly superficial because KDE is just huge, and also I haven't written any software reviews before. :D

So no, but thanks for asking. :p

Just out of curiosity, is that the default l&f of KDE 3.0? And how is it memory-wise? Is it about the same as 2.2, or has the usage gone up some?

I just installed KDE3 and it is nice. there are still a few bugs that I think need to be worked out... but as of now I am happy. Still think fluxbox will be my main WM but we will see

That looks really nice!

I have to ask - what's with the faded windows in the background? I've never seen anything like that. Well, I'm going to download KDE3 now...
