Would this (http://www.linuxorbit.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showpic&pid=7&orderby=hitsD) be close enough? The guys who posted the screenie says it's just a gtk theme. Sound pretty easy.

Actually, it isn't really that hard. I tried it once, and there are quite a lot of themes for it out there (mostly on classic.themes.org) but to have it look exactly like you want it to look is a bit more difficult, you'll probably have to make your own theme for that.
/me thinks about making one soon for icewm

You know, you should get those themes while you can... Apple is still trying to sue people who make those style themes... You know, "Intellectual Property" or whatever...

what is that launcher thing on the bottom. of this screenshot (http://www.linuxorbit.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showpic&pid=7&orderby=hitsD)
it looks like that icon panel in MacOSX that scales the icons when you mouse over them.

That's a regular gnome panel. It's doesn't do the funky icon scaling though.
