Panel color in KDE 2.2.2?

Is there a way to change the kicker panel color in KDE 2.2.2?

I want to change it from the ugly gray...

Not sure if you can change the color itself, but I guess you could accomplish this by changing the panel background image.

Open up KDE Control Center > Look & Feel > Panel

In the Look & Feel tab, enable background image and choose an image you would like. Or I guess if there's a specific pattern you would like, you could create it with gimp.

If you're not using a pixmap on kicker, then it changes to whatever colour your window background is. So in the KDE control center -> LooknFeel -> Colours. You can change it there. The "window background" setting affects it.
