Open up KDE Control Center > Look & Feel > Panel In the Look & Feel tab, enable background image and choose an image you would like. Or I guess if there's a specific pattern you would like, you could create it with gimp. Hope that helps. 2thumbs 03-27-2002, 07:59 PM If you're not using a pixmap on kicker, then it changes to whatever colour your window background is. So in the KDE control center -> LooknFeel -> Colours. You can change it there. The "window background" setting affects it. justlinux.com
