I use mandrake 8.1 . I have changed the homepage to google. That works when I click on the house. But when I start Konqueror, it still starts with the mandrake advertisement page. How can I change that?

Konqueror let's you save different "profiles", for example web browsing, file browsing, or however you would wish.
Open up Konqueror and go to the URL you wish to make your homepage. Once it's loaded up, go to
Window > Save View Profile "Web Browsing"
It should prompt you if you want to save the profile as a different name. If you wish, you can save it under a different name, but you have to remember to change the links that start conqueror to open up that specific profile if you want it to start on the set page.
