Enlightenment

i used an RPM to install E and then i did the echo command
but whenever i startup, enlightenment isnt a choice of window managers....

what do i need to do?

*running mandrake 8.1 and have the latest version of X*

You'll probably need to edit your login manager's config file. xdm/kdm/gdm to add an entry for enlightenment. I believe there may be an NHF on this somewhere.

btw, what's "the echo command"? What did you echo?

i dont know
my friend told me to type 'echo *something*' into the console to enable E, but it didnt work, obviously....

ill look around the nhf's again
