After hearing such great things about it I finally decided to download it and install. So after about an hour of tinkering with it I wiped Gnome from my hard drive.
I'm really impressed with the speed, and especially the size.
They kept it simple, like window managers are supposed to be. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

I believe there is a Gnome to blackbox menu convert on their website somewhere. As for GnomeICU I dunno... I use licq myself, so I couldnt help ya.
Yeah to run gnome icu you just open up a terminal and type in the command to open it. Or edit the menu so that it is in there.

you can also try FancyLauncher if you want a 1 click iconized program initializer. this cool little proggie used to be an epplet but was released by the author for those who aren't "Enlightened".
you can get moe info on FancyLauncher here:

if you wanna see how it looks like, here's my screenie with it running in BlackBox. (its the row of little icons on the bottom left, (30 commands mapped to those little icons, 1 for each mouse button))
