can someone just give me a basic run-down on how to edit elightenment menu files - or any other important file for that matter. i just started linux a few hours ago after years and years of windows.

I could find the file for the Enlightenment settings menu (after a lot of searching), but not for the more common apps menu. I have mandrake8.1...will menuconf access that menu, or is that hidden in another text file somewhere? justlinux.com
