Mandrake 7.2 KDE?????

I've just installed mandrake 7.2 and started it up got a log in screen logged in as root user and ended up with the x desktop how do I get the kde desktop.

At your login screen, there should be a drop down menu that will allow you to select which desktop environment you want.

yeah, i got the 7.2 just installed as well, and am running with KDE...
but WTF!!!??

man, talk about fsckin up a good thing,.

for example, what happened to that gui sysV editor for all the rc5.d, rc3.d directory listings and what not.

not that i mind editting them by hand, but kinda liked the speed of that system V one.
