I'm running RedHat 7.0 and tried to install Enlightement 0.16.5. When i run configure i get an error msg saying I i need libfnlib.so. It says it can be obtained from enlightenment's ftp which apparently is down cause i couldn't get on. I went onto the red hat ftp and installed the fnlib rpm. I tried to configure E again and it gave me the same error. Any clues?
Thanks,
Sean

I remember I had similar problems, even when I compiled the extra libs, but I got it to work somehow.
First be sure that this in rpm-binary are the same libs which can be downloaded from the E.-webpage.
I remember it had to do something with the sequence of compiling.
First the libs then Enlightment itself. Or maybe it has to do with the PATHs in your .bashrc? Because even when I had the libs in place just as written in the READ ME-file, E. couldn't find the libs. (When I tried to start E.)
S**T, it's a shame I never write things down.
(What I did and how I solved it)

I got this fixed by downloading the tarballs and they worked fine.
