Typical. I get the 2.4.17 kernel, the next day 2.4.18 comes out. I get fluxbox 0.1.6 last night... today, 0.1.7 comes out. *sigh* Maybe I should reinstall WinXP and hurry things along abit :p I'm on a roll...

And I doubt its going to take a WHOLE weekend. :D Maybe downloading the kernel might take take more than a considerable amount of time, but fluxbox is weeny. Another good thing about it. It had it downloaded, compiled, installed, runninig, and sending in screenshots within 15 minutes!

How do you upgrade to the new version? Would you just install over 0.1.6 or do you need to uninstall it and then install 0.1.7? :rolleyes:

depends how you installed it originally. Tarball or binary?

make uninstall from the old source directory, then compile the new source as normal. Your old config files will still be present.
