Kde giving me problems

I have been running kde for a while, but recently it gives me an error at startup about dcopserver not working while seting up interprocess communication. I would just like to use a lite window manager now, but I don't know how to change that, can someone help me?

There's a section on Windows Manager here http://linux.nf/stepbystep.htm that can tell you how to change to a different WM. May not be for your specific distro though as you only mentioned KDE.
