Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Help! My main gnome panel moved
I just updated my helix gnome programs via Debian apt and my main menu panel decided to move from the top of the screen into the middle. When I rightclick on the panel, the menu for it shows up at the top as if the panel itself were at the top, yet when I use the menus, they pop up relative to the (misplaced) panel.
What can I do?!

try moving it down and then back up? other than that, I dunno...
Because it's the main helix panel, it can't be moved. I also tried moving my ~/.gnome/ dir and when gnome created the default theme, the bar was in the center, so I think it's a problem with helix gnome itself http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/frown.gif
Well, I've 'fixed' my problem.
It turns out that it was a b0rked sawfish config, so I just deleted ~/.sawfish and all is better.
