I am seeing in my root directory some screensaver files. The funny thing is as follows:
kss-install-pid-root@atl-vgn-tqy-27q.as.wcom.net
There are currently 4 different of these from 3 different days, which are all traceable to ppp connection to internet.
I also see the screensaver I selected which has the normal root address.
Any ideas on how the Netscape server address gets applied to the kss?
FWIW, I NEVER surf as root.
Should I view this as more of a security issue?
OS = Mandrake complete 6.5, Kernel 2.2.13,
x=3.35. KDE 1.1.x
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Don, whoops forgot stupid sig.
