I'm running Slackware (actually, I've added so much stuff the distro doesn't really matter anymore) Linux on a 2.4.10 kernel, XFree86 3.3.5, and QT 2.3.1
When I run the configure script for kdelibs 2.2.1, it tells me that I do not have a version of QT >= 2.2.2 installed when in fact I do (2.3.1, as mentioned above). It is installed in $QTDIR (/usr/local/qt), and I have $QTDIR/bin in my $PATH, $QTDIR/lib in my $LD_LIBRARY_PATH, etc. I have also tried running ./configure --with-qt-<foo>=$QTDIR/<foo> as well as recompiling QT, but to no avail. Google has nothing on this error, and I can't think of anything else myself.
